Analysis
The results of the revolution positively affected everyone, but specifically improved the quality of life of the common people. Leading up to the revolution, the Bourgeoisies’ rights were extremely limited. But, with the creation of The Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen, this was changed. Many of the unfair inequalities in France were caused by the fact that rules and power varied based on wealth, and social class.
The rules changed drastically with the creation of this important document, which is evident in the above quote. It states “Men are born and remain free and equal in rights.” This is an idea, which largely benefited the country, because it limited the power of the upper class, and gave more political power to more people. Similar ideas can also be found in documents such as the United States Constitution.
